Salmon!
The Knik River is just minutes from the house [15 minute drive]. We both caught our daily limit of King Salmon [1] within a couple hours, and were home in time for lunch!

The rest of our summer in Alaska has been spent figuring out where the salmon are and making time to go fishing.
