Balta! Our New Beagle

He's a 13" beagle - which means he's not going to be much more than a foot tall (at the shoulders) when fully grown. Great personality, great with cats (actually a job requirement here at the South Park Cat Sitter's), and learning quickly.  In a few weeks when he's well on his way to being kennel trained, he'll get his remote-control collar to open the Star Trek door.

In the mean time, he's adapting to being a member of a new family.

"How does he do that with his tail?"

Balta's number one job for the foreseeable future:  napping.
